Alice’s night
Eléctrico 28 curates a thematic, immersive, and ephemeral night, fully inspired by the universe of Alice’s adventures in Wonderland. Taking into account the political, philosophical, literary, and psychological dimensions of Lewis Carroll’s book and its characters, we have created a series of interactive and simultaneous scenarios to experiment with absurdity, irreverence, and introspection.
The Caixa Forum building (Barcelona, Madrid) is transformed into a unique adventure for visitors, breaking away from traditional patterns: altered environments, surprising lighting, and music that awakens the senses. Through play, curiosity, and uninhibited participation, a physical dialogue emerges between our world and Wonderland, leading visitors on an inner journey to question their identity and their relationship with the world.
An opportunity to open a dialogue between literature, narrative, creativity, performance and experience design.
We explored the resignification of Carrollian archetypes by creating hybrid characters that oscillated between the everyday and the surreal. This resulted in a series of unexpected performative appearances intended to evoke suggestive imagery within the space.
We installed a Garden of Irreverent Conversations. Through five different packs of cards, visitors were invited to play a game that led them into absurd dialogues, bringing them closer to the creative universe of characters like the Mad Hatter. They could talk about time, identity, proportion, doors, or crying.
To deepen the visitor’s introspective journey and provoke a fall into personal mysteries… a Tarot-Alice experience. No answers, no projections into the future — only openness and connection with the present, individually and in a highly personalized way.
And an encounter with Lewis, to recognise the character within — another way to dive deep inside and establish emotional and psychological connections with Wonderland’s central archetypes. A guided audio experience inviting participation, introspection, and interaction with strangers.
